  • Structural engineering design is the core of Point 7 Engineering’s practice. We provide complete structural design services for residential and light commercial projects, from early concept through construction documents. This service includes gravity and lateral system design, foundations, wood and engineered wood framing, and coordination with architectural and builder teams. We focus on clear load paths, efficient systems, and constructable details that support architectural intent, ease of construction, and long-term performance. All of our EOR service projects are backed by detailed calculations packages for submittal to you AHJ for permit.

  • Point 7 Engineering offers specialty structural engineering services provides shop drawing review and stamping where timber and advanced wood systems are a primary design driver. This includes heavy timber framing, mass timber systems such as CLT and glulam, SIP assemblies, exposed structures, and complex or long-span wood framing. Our approach balances traditional timber principles with modern analysis and detailing to deliver durable, buildable solutions. 

  • We provide structural inspections and site observations for existing buildings, renovations, and active construction. Services may include assessment of foundations, framing, and lateral systems; construction verification; and documentation of observed conditions. Inspections are scoped to address specific project needs and are documented clearly for owners, builders, and design teams.
