Point 7 Engineering
Bozeman, Montana (Mountain West Based | Projects Nationwide) | Remote Friendly
Small independent firm | Architect-driven projects | Real project ownership
Point 7 Engineering is still a young firm, which means the people who join now will help shape what it becomes.
We’re not trying to build the biggest engineering firm.
Just a great one.
If the idea of building something from the ground up — and doing meaningful structural work along the way — sounds interesting, we’d like to hear from you.
About Point 7 Engineering
Point 7 Engineering is a structural engineering practice based in Bozeman, Montana, working on architecturally driven projects across the United States.
We collaborate closely with architects, builders, and fabricators to design structural systems that are efficient, practical, and well integrated with the architecture. Our work spans custom residential buildings, timber structures, and other complex projects where thoughtful structural design plays a key role in the success of the project.
As a small and growing practice, we focus on high-quality work, direct collaboration, and engineers who take pride in seeing their projects through from concept to construction.
This Role Isn’t for Everyone
Point 7 Engineering is intentionally a small firm. That means there’s nowhere to hide behind layers of management or rigid corporate structure.
Engineers here take real ownership of projects, work directly with architects and builders, and help solve structural problems from concept through construction. We take technical rigor seriously and review our work carefully, but we keep the focus on good engineering rather than unnecessary process.
If you prefer an environment with constant internal meetings, rigid departmental silos, and layers of corporate process, this probably isn’t the right fit.
But if you enjoy figuring things out, taking responsibility for your work, and helping build something from the ground up, you’ll do very well here.
